So when does it become time to fire Ozzie Guillen?

The man is a clown. First place or not can this team really move forward with Guillen as the Manager?.

This is the same guy who called out the media for criticizing the team's play a couple of weeks ago and now he is calling out the whole team, the GM included. Ozzie is becoming quite the hypocrite.

He may have won a championship but how many more media outbursts can the team put up with with before axing the guy.

I have a feeling that Ozzie just provided the pretext for his firing. If the Sox go through a prolonged slump and he keeps bitching to the media about the team and the GM then he's gonna be out of a job.

Being a quotable guy and having the spotlight is only good when you're winning or when you're not criticizing those who have your fate in their hands.

I think the Sox will need another Jerry Manuel type. They need a strong quiet man to lead the team.

Well, if he didn't kill his teams with hit and runs and running too much then he'd be just fine.

I think he could be in trouble. It's one thing to throw players under the bus, it's entirely different to throw your GM under the bus. Not to mention, that Reinsdork has Kenny's back.

I think the minute the Sox are out of playoff contention, Guillen will be let go.

Anybody still feels he needs to be fired? Since the rant the White Sox:
            - won 6 games in a row.
            - offense has averaged 9 runs/game during this streak.
            - increased our division lead to 5.5 games.

If the voting for AL Manager of the Year were to happen now, Ozzie would get it. For them to be 5.5 games ahead in a division that most people picked a distant 3rd, how could you not consider him?

He's a strong choice but at this point in time the award is a virtual lock for Joe Maddon.
