High Heat 2004 vs. WSB 2K3?

Hello....was hoping someone could let me know their thoughts on both games. I haven't played either one yet and am undecided as to which to purchase. I am leaning towards WSB 2K3. I know it is graphically superior, but how does it hold up to the game play of HH? Thanks for any comments/suggestions.....

The gameplay in WSB is good, but the I think the gameplay in HH is still untouched as far as realism. I haven't played enough WSB to say it can't compare to HH's yet though, but to match HH's gameplay will be tough for any game. I can tell you this is a better OVERALL game than HH IMO! But it depends what YOU like more in a game. I have both and will give it a week, play both extensively, pick one to keep and start a franchise, and then sell one on Ebay!

I think High Heat is like Madden and WSB2K3 is like NFL2K3, they both have their pros and cons. Both have their fans and you really need to try them both to find out what is right for you (and I don't mean just a few games, I mean really give each around 4-5 days worth of solid play to make a decision).

Yeah, if you play one game and take one of these bach b/c it didn't impress you, you could be making a mistake and not know it. How many times has somebody said they were taking back HH b/c the graphics were PS1ish and then two days later said it was the best baseball game they ever played?

I didn't pay $50 to give the game 1 9inning chance! People hated NFL2k3 the same way until they actually DOVE into it.

I picked up WS2K3 yesterday. It seems very close to last years game. Maybe I need to give it more time! Any comments?
So far, I love High Heat.

rom what I have heard about WSB, the fact that it has an in game save may make my decision to go with WSB.

Once I get it and give it time, I'll know for sure. But the overwhelming response from baseball purists like Jim have me really anxious to see WSB.
