What's amazing is that this might only be his 2nd best stretch of the year.

In a season in which Ryan Howard might strikeout 250 times this is exactly what the Phillies need out of Utley.
Back-to-back-to-back MVP's doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility right now.

Who knows, maybe next year will Pedro Feliz's year and the whole Phillie Infield would be MVP's (that one seems a little far fetched, but stranger things have happend...).

Not to rain on Utley's parade...but didn't Cody Ross have 9 of his last 10 HITS as homeruns?. THAT is ridiculous!

How about Bruce the rookie for Cincy, first week of the show for him

For Chase Utley, I think he'll be getting my All Star vote for 2B. The only downside I see for him is the inflated numbers, like Coors, at Citizens Bank Park. Either way, doing really well

Well, then you can say the same thing about Bruce because GABP is as much of a launching pad as the Bank.

But I don't think you can even compare Coors and the Bank.

Unlike Howard and Rollins, Utley (this year and last year) has benefited from The Bank. Even though his away numbers are very good, his home numbers are sick.

For Bruce its his first week in MLB, not sure why youre comparing him to Utley, I was simply saying Bruce is having a phenomal start to his career...a week old carerr.

2007 for Coors saw more action than Citizens but this year they are pretty close through June.

Hardly of any comparison seeing as how Ross is hitting .210 for the season...Utley is a world-class hitter.

Don't get your panties in a bunch, he didn't compare him to Utley.

You act like someone punched your mom in the face if they don't get on their knees every time a Philly is mentioned.

Utley, Chipper, and Berkman are all having insane years. And there are a lot of other guys who are right there behind them also having great years.

You mean like Josh Hamilton? He's having a hell of a year too.

Lol, I was just talking about the NL players. But Hamilton is a beast, too.
