Game 1: My first game I was the Pads agains the Angels and it was really my tester game. I lost 15-0 and only got three hits on all the default settings. There were no dingers and the CPU baserunning is incredible. I saw a huge variety of hits and no more vacuum cleaner pitchers or high line drives snatched away. The CPU is aggressive on the base paths and really keeps you on your toes. I actually got picked off second base because I fell asleep at the controller. pretty cool! One cool hit I saw too was a high chopper off of homeplate that my catcher fielded, but I couldn't get the speedy Eckstein! The score was high because as I said was my tester game. I really wasn't playing it like a real ball game. Check out my game two and you will really see what I mean.
Game 2: I saved in the top of the 8th against the Mets. The Pads in their sickening camoflauge green uni's and Mets in throwbacks. The behind the pitcher cam is fantastic and I love playing D' fence that way. I was flipping back and forth between my game and the real Mets game on tv last night and the behind the pitcher view is perfect. Now, in this game I have been playing more realistic, and the score is 1-0!!! fantastic simulation if you ask me. I love the ESPN presentation and the options you can choose from. I have been using the defaults and haven't even messed with the sliders yet. I have been using the medium sized cursor and find it superior to ASB's cursor for hitting. The variety of hits is spectacular in this game and the CPU baserunning is aggressive as hell. I basically got home late from work last night and threw the game in and played until my eyes were starting to close. The replays are brilliant as well, so don't worry about the cut scenes, check out the replay yourself if you really want a good shot. As far as the player scaling goes, you won't notice, because the game play is so great. True, I have only played two games so far, but this game is incredible, and I highly suggest you pick it up!!! If anyone has any questions, I'd be happy to answer them for you.
