Where is the CPU Bullpen setting? Or is there one?

I have bullpens turned on to warm up pitchers. I know how to get my guys in, warmed up and entered into the game. Question is, how do I get the CPU to do the same? I play SF in franchise, and playing SD last night, I noticed that when they would go to pinch hit for their pitcher, they had no one up in the bullpen, and at the start of the next inning, a new pitcher was in his grove from the outset. Also, I noticed when I had guys up, when they were ready, I would get “so and so is warmed up”. The CPU would sub guys cold. I was shelling Adam Eaton, (4 runs in the first, and 4 more in the second) and they went with a new guy. I was watching the bullpen activity to see when they would get a guy up and no one ever did.

Does the CPU use the bullpen? If not, I might as well turn it off for me since it only handicaps my bringing in my guys cold will run the chance of hurting them. I want both sides to use the bullpen, it adds to the strategy of baseball.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

It may be that the CPU is not programed to use the bullpen and just bring in guys when they feel like. I have noticed tho, that it only takes about 2-3 batters for your guy to warm up.
