HH True/False quiz

...because I'm unclear on these issues:

True or False?

1) Moving the simulation slider on the "season settings" menu to the right tones down the offenses or evens the field...

2) Moving the pitch count slider to the right makes the batter (cpu) tend to swing at more bad pitches.

3) The longer you hold the strike botton down when you pitch, the more accurate the pitch will be, but your pitcher will tire quicker----and vice versa.

Looking at the tutorial, it looks like moving the pitch count slider to the right will make them swing at LESS bad pitches. It sounds like the higher that slider is, the more pitches they'll take, and the less likely they'll be to swing at junk. I think that's why I'm not getting a lot of strikeouts. I'll move it back to the center to see what happens.

Looking at the tutorial, it looks like moving the pitch count slider to the right will make them swing at LESS bad pitches. It sounds like the higher that slider is, the more pitches they'll take, and the less likely they'll be to swing at junk. I think that's why I'm not getting a lot of strikeouts. I'll move it back to the center to see what happens.

IMO-
1.The sim bar si to tune game between arcade and simulation.with the bar at 0 the game is totally arcade and therefore the real life stats dont have an effect in game so you might have little guys such as cesar isturis hitting 10 or more hrs.with the bar at 10 its totally simulation and plyers real life attributes determine the play of the game,so you wont have a edgar alsonzo hitting 30+ HRS.the recommended setting is usually7-9 depending on your liking.

IMO-

2- the higher the pitch count slider is the more pitched the cpu takes and the less pitches it swings at that are out of the strike zone.i like 6-7 -the cpu usually takes 1st pitch but it gets tough after that.
3-IMO- when you hold down x a liitle longer when pitching it allows you to put alittle extra heat or speed on your pitch BUT depending on the pitchers control you might tend to add speed but lose accuracy.hope this helps.
