Where can you find team stats for average hits per game?
I checked espn and mlb.com and I couldn't find stats for each team and their average hits that they get per game. Can someone help with this?My latest project - Madden 12 http://www.operationsports.com/forum...post2043231648Tags: None -

Can't say that I know, but since they have team totals, just take the total number of hits and divide it by the number of games played. That's really the best help I can be at this point.
Do the team's official websites differ at all from MLB.com?Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60 -

No. I'll just do the division. There's a built in calculator on my computer so that's not a problem at all.My latest project - Madden 12 http://www.operationsports.com/forum...post2043231648Comment

If you want Sabers on each team Hardball Times is the place to go. These will help your sim #'s a whole lot better than ERA or hits.

You wouldn't want games played. You would want innings played (in case of extra innings). I tried to figure out hits per game too but couldn't because I couldn't find innings played. I gave up and figured it was just somewhere in that 7-9 area, of course with some outliers.Last edited by slickdtc; 06-11-2008, 11:03 AM.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

Re: Where can you find team stats for average hits per game?
I don't think that's really how they do it. I think they just do per game, even if it's a 23 inning game. I make some adjustments in my stats for my sister's softball team because there's rarely a 7 inning ballgame (because of a time limit), so I do some adjustments based on the number of offensive outs (or opportunities, if you will), namely in my RC27 (or in this case, RCOI (offensive innings)), wins, and saves. But in baseball, it's normally so close to 9, I think that's just what they use.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
