Some will remember me making complaints about ASB2004, how the gameplay wasn't very good, and all that.
I have to be honest, though. WSB2K3 does a very poor job of producing a "realistic" feel for the game of baseball. It sure looks prettier than ASB2004, but after the crap I've had to put up with (sliders that, sliders that, settings this, settings that), I'm ALL up for a game that will at least produce realistic results AND allow me to play in manage-only mode. I'm a firm believer that no matter how good a pitcher/hitter interface is, humans will always influence the results in a way that isn't very realistic.
I'd rather let the computer decide how my players do, pending my actions that I take as a manager. ASB2004 can do those things for me, and very well. Next year, if they can improve on the player animations, collision detection and nuances of managing the minors (actually use A, AA, AAA, etc.), they WILL have a game that sets the standard for how the game of baseball should be presented.
That's all I've got to say
