I have a PS2 and rented ASB and really liked i. I liked last years also. With all these positive comments i'm thinking about buying and XBOX and getting WSB today. Just wondering if there are any people like me who loved ASB last year and this year but were blown away by WSB and converted. Thanks!

Didn't play ASB (may have rented it) last year, but I absolutely love this year's version. I bought WSB, and I don't know if I have converted, but it's definitely worth the money.
I have not played it enough yet to now the whole story, but I can't imagine you'd be disappointed. -

The few things I like about WSB thats not in ASB are:
For one, you can throw balls without making a concience efford to do so.
Secondly, the CPU baserunning seems a bit more aggressive. I hated ASB baserunners. On ASB have you ever had a runner start to go to third but turn around and go back cause they saw that they were gonna be gunned. Thats BS.
And Third, you can hit to every place on the field including foul balls without only playing with a cursor.
I'm not saying that I like WSB more but WSB actually got right a few minor gripes that I had with ASB.http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment

yeah i hear ya, i just called gamestop and they will give 120 for my ps2 and they have refurbed x boxes for 149. do you guys think it is worth it? does x box play and look better? also has anyone ever bought a refurbed game system before?ND Season Ticket Holder since '72.Comment

F yeah. I own both, and the XBox's graphics and sound are far superior. BUT, I'm an EA sports guy and the fact that Madden and NBA Live aren't online for the XBox, is death on a stick. That's why I could never give up my PS2.
BUT, if you don't are about EA games online, GET AN XBOX NOW. No joke homie. And make sure to get the S-video for the Xbox too..... a big must-do.
