Braves up to the same old dirty shenanigans

Once again with throwing at Soriano. Wow, is there a dirtier team than the Braves?

What makes me so mad is the umps warned both teams after a pitch slipped from Lilly's hands last night but tonite somebody gets hurt and no big deal. I hate the Braves

Yeah, it does suck. Atlanta should be paying Sorianos salary for the next 6 weeks.

Is this the same Soriano that hangs is *** over the plate??

Of course he is going to get hit.

So, when a pitch goes over McCann's head last night (immediately following a HR), and then he gets hit again the next night, it just slipped.

Soriano gets plunked, it's on purpose. Alrighty.

I'm not a Braves fan but have watched that video at least 5 times in the last few minutes and it doesn't look to me like Bennett was throwing at Soriano. Plus, Soriano even turned into it like he might swing. Since when have the Braves been considered dirty?

I dont think he was pitching to hit him, it kept riding up and Soriano seemed to start to step into the pitch. I could be 100% wrong but from watching the game/replays thats what I took away from it

                      The Braves are DIRTY? WTF?

The Braves probably have the cleanest reputation in the whole league in terms of the "big" teams. I mean, I have NEVER heard that allegation in my 15 years of watching them.

                      Are you serious?

One of the most rediculous accusations I've ever read. A guy who was put in to start in an emergency situation lost control of one pitch & you think he was throwing @ Soriano. Unbelievable. I watched it live on TV last night & there was no was there was any malice in that pitch. Bennett had a worried look on his face the entire time after the throw. Folks need to get a grip.

Apparently you are no longer allowed to go up and in on a guy that hangs out over the plate anymore. If you do, that makes you dirty.

That's just bad luck. Soriano's stance leaves him vulnerable to inside pitches that may get away. That's why guys like him Rickie Weeks and Biggio always get hit. Calling the Braves the dirtiest team in baseball is laughable.
