    Rank the managers

    http://sports.espn.go.com/chat/sport...d=1&listId=143

You have to vote to see the vote count.

    # 1 Cox (761) 110,723
    # 2 Francona (900) 108,553
    # 3 La Russa (612) 104,799
    # 4 Piniella (620) 102,460
    # 5 Scioscia (488) 100,230
    # 6 Torre (284) 96,356
    # 7 Leyland (158) 78,849
    # 8 Guillen (183) 68,352
    # 9 Gardenhire (130) 66,966
    # 10 Maddon (87) 64,082

Clearly, people are voting on career achievement rather than what's being done this season. Maddon should at least sniff top 5 (if not top 3) for what he's done in Tampa. So should Fredi Gonzalez for coaching the Marlins. Torre is nowhere near that high. Neither should Leyland be there in the top 10. Not sure I agree with La Russa being #3.

    Re: Rank the managers

Leyland and Randolph should be battling it out for the Bozo award. No way is Leyland top 10, he's senile. Although he's seem to have snapped out of it the last week, hopefully he keeps away from the Ripple the rest of the season.
