I am big into baseball but I traded WSB last fall.


I like a fun game that has lots of baseballness and baseball strategy. The straight SIM qualities in HH are great but it leaves it feeling kinda dry. I want a game that has everything.


What i want is WSB 98.


Anyway, if MVP is that much more fun than WSB, I think i need to get it.

MVP has no sliders, you are stuck with not making changes to gameplay. No Career stats or Hall of Fame either. Hitting is too easy.

I've been reading threads in both forums for over an hour now.


From what I can tell:


MVP = best pitcher/batter, alot of fun, not very polished
WSB = not ever revolutionary but always solid and probably the most polished game around


So it seems WSB would last me longer but im intrigued by the fun factor of MVP. I think HH proved to me this year that I do want something different. But I dont want something different that's only fun for a week or two.

I played 1 game on pro so far. There was some weirdness that I hope gets alleviated at higher difficulty and with slider tweaks, but so far so good anyway
