    Is anybody drawing walks???

I've read everything on here, but still haven't heard how many walks a game you are drawing. Also I noticed that the CPU doesn't walk cuz he won't chase much out of the zone.

Please post your walk numbers. Thanks

First of all, if you're patient it's not impossible to draw walks. For example, I got Leiter to walk 3 guys against the Cubs.

"Also I noticed that the CPU doesn't walk cuz he won't chase much out of the zone. "

I don't think you meant to say it like that. If they don't chase stuff out of the strikezone, then they will walk a lot. I find it extremely difficult to fool the batters (but it can be done) simply because the good hitters will not chase many pitches.

yeah...you really have to use a wide variety of pitches...switching speeds and location constantly..never let the hitter be sure of where you are going to go..just like the big leagues...if you are a patient hitter you will walk, i always take the first pitch, it might help if you use the batting 2 view, its easier to follow the path of the pitch..
You can put it on the BOARDDD!!!!

If you want to walk more when you pitche turn off the pitching aid. Just like WSB it's a little too easy to hit your spots in this game.

If you want to walk more when you are batting be patient. It happens but maybe not as much as in the majors.

Turning off the pitching aid may be the way to go here, is that the way you play? And if so do you give up more longballs that way cuz I have yet to?

Ive walked a good amount of guys in my games, maybe 2 a game, and last night I drew 4 walks in 5inns vs the Cubs.

Patience is the key when batting, and no batting cursor is the key when pitching

Exactly, it's too easy to see a players weak spots in hitting with that option on. Turn it off.
