So far I have researched this issue on BBSC, and one of the most reliable sources out there, Jim416, has proven your issue invalid.

I researched this issue at Gamefaqs, which isn't a great resource, however, your findings are once again shot down.

Here at OS, your findings are still up in the air.

In conclusion, as of this very moment, your findings are not valid. I don't mean any offense, but it's just very odd that this game is being played and you are the only one so far with this issue as major as it is.

I also see the stealing bug, or whatever it is. It just takes the catcher too long to throw the ball. But I've been stealing bases manualy so I dont know about with the d-pad yet. Plus I have yet to throw the CPU out.

BTW, you guys need to just keep an open mind about these issues. If more than one person says something wrong, you cant just strip a persons credibility and think they have a defective disc and whatnot. I've been seeing this issue all day today and came home and tried it for myself, and I believe in what the original poster stated. But there has to be a solution.

I have tried both methods. Both ways I'm safe at 2nd. Mainly I just use the D-pad to queue the steal. I have been testing this for awhile now and I think I have been thrown out at 2nd
once in 30-40 attempts using different catchers and runners. Joe McEwing owns the title as the only guy to ever get thrown out at 2nd stealing so far.

I swear I am trying to make this work and not trying to be a prick about this. I have been around these boards, sportsreviewers and the high heat community for many years so people know I'm for real.

I am getting easy steals also, but im using the old fashioned way. Next game i will try it with Dpad.



I am also on the xbox. Maybe it's a platform thing?

I don't know, but I'm DEFINITELY editing ALL player's speeds... I don't care how long it takes, but if I have to do that to make a game realistic, then so be it.

Its quite a big flaw but definity not going to turn me away from getting the game but the bug might be fix in the ps2 version.
