    Injuries/Player Fatigue in Franchise?

Just curious, has anyone had any injuries in their franchise during played (not simmed) games? If so, how do they work? Do they happen during a play? Are substitutions handled correctly when a player is injured?

Also, has anyone noticed whether you need to rest players during a season, or is fatigue not a factor. In my first few games of my franchise, it seems like I can pitch my relievers every day without them tiring. Anyone else notice this?

jgo, ive had several injuries happen during franchise..
the first was when i was playing with the marlins, i gave pudge the green light to go home, and he slid in head first..resulting in a strained rib cage, out for ten days..another time i was playing..hairston jr. dove for a ball and hurt himself, not sure of the extent of the injury....they mainly happen on dives and slides...so be careful which slide you choose for an injury prone player like pudge or grif..as far as the stamina goes, my relievers usually dont go that long so i havent noticed a drop off in fatigue..ill test it out though
You can put it on the BOARDDD!!!!

I've had an injury happen to one of my players in my franchise. I was pitching with AJ Burnett in the top of the 9th, 2 outs and 0-1 count. Burnett threw a curveball for a strike and after the pitch I get a popup on my screen saying Burnett had a strained shoulder, and i had to replace him in the lineup. Finished the game and when to the main franchise screen where i got another message saying AJ was placed on the 15day dl.

Thanks guys. The injury engine sounds good. Anyone know about relief pitcher fatigue? As a Padre fan I'd love to run T. Hoffman out there for 2 innings every game, but it wouldn't be very realistic.
