    My MVP Impressions for PS2

I've played 3 games in franchise mode, both on pro, and I've done the Homerun derby mode. So far, this game is definetely a keeper. There are no "bugs" that keep this game unplayable.

I don't understand why people are complaining with the game. There is no such thing as a perfect video game, and EA Sports is always known for being "arcady". This game is as close as you are going to get to realism and fun. The pitching mode is great, as I've managed to strike out 6 Atlanta Braves in one game (4 K's coming from the pen). I am currently 1-2, with a 5-4 opening day loss, 4-2 win, and 2-0 loss.

The finishing point for me, was when I missed the accuracy bar on my curveball, and left a fat one for Sheffield to stroke over the right field wall. Hitting is really great, as if you swing early, you'll pull, swing late, you'll push. It's all about timing.

The auto dive is surprisingly great. Infielders make dives and stops that you would never have time to react to. Outfielders make great running forward dives, and you don't fall on top of the ball like a manual dive.

If you have a friend/brother the Homerun derby mode is amazing. My brother and I are currently doing "tournaments", where we have 8 players in each, going head to head. Winner of each tournament will go to the final tournament, at Coors field.

If you want a game that plays fast (30 min), and is fun, yet realistic, get MVP. If you want a more indepth, "realistic" type simming game, get WSB. Get both if you are a diehard fan, but you definetely can't lose out by getting MVP.
