yep....chan ho park...pitching against the angels...throws a pitch and then callapses on the mound....cant remember the exact injury...i think it was a tear in the hand, fihure or wrist and he's on the shelf for 60 days....

needless to say....i thought that was way cool...haha

Did he really FALL though? Like he pitched, then during that same scene, he fell? If so, that's pretty funny and sick (cool) at the same time.

pffffffffffffffffffft, isnt dealing with injuries part of the game?? If it happens it happens. There is always the next season.

            <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

I don't have a problem with my players getting injured, even if it is my star player. That's the harsh reality of baseball. I was just a little perplexed that the guy who got injured wasn't even remotely involved in the play that had just occured. If it was a play to him, then fine, it would make sense, but as it stands, it's kind of a noodle scratcher

However, no one else seems to have really seen this, so i'm going to assume that it was a rare occurance (even though it happened twice in four games) and hopefully won't happen in my franchise.

I was playing against the Bluejays. Jeter hits one to short, Jays get Jeter out at first. However, Hinske (who wasn't even involved in the play) fractured his finger - out for 41 days.

They wouldn't let me see a replay for me to see how he got injured.

Oh well, HH2k2 had some funky injuries too.

                Oh good, i'm not crazy.
