    Batting Stances

This guy has some of the stances nailed down perfectly. He has a video for nearly every team.

    Re: Batting Stances

I used to stand in front of the TV and mimic everybody. It probably influenced me to begin switch-hitting when I said, "Hey, the left side doesn't feel too bad."

He sort of exaggerates them all, but I suppose he has the right idea (Matsui's looked pretty wrong, and I'm using the word "wrong" in more than one way). Funny how he had A-Rod strike out in his imitation lol.

      Ummm, that was terrible.

That was more of a parody of their stances than anything else. He over exaggerated every little nuisance of their stance and a lot of the time it wasn't even that close.

Anyone can look like the guy swinging the bat. So, yea I could tell who he was mimicking. But, that doesn't mean you have it down right.

      Horrible.

This was awesome! Watch the Cleveland Indians one, seriously! Just do it. You'll be shocked at a few of the players he does.

Hint: it helps if you're a fan of Major League.

Yeah, that was more of a parody than anything. Some of the exaggerations were pretty funny though.

If me and a buddy ever go out in my backyard to film me imitating batting stances, someone shoot me in the face.

                  Wow, thanks.

Before I even read your post, I was rereading mine and I couldn't believe I wrote nuisance. I knew someone would catch it and three posts down there it is.

I just watched the Blue Jays one...sad and pathetic. Tho he was pretty close with Tony Fernandez's stance.

Who the hell would take that much time and do this?

I feel dumber for watching that, although the Cal Ripken part in the O's vid was funny.
