    stealing bases

    anybody been successfull at stealing bases yet? i have good jumps of big leads on changeups with soriano and it still seems like i'm always out. the cpu doesn't fair much better. most of the time it takes me awhile to realize they are stealing and i still seem to always get em'.

    I'm 4-4 with Soriano.

    take the biggest lead...press up BEFORE the pitch (ofcourse, make sure you know the guy won't throw over to pick you off)...and slide head first into second.

        Yeah. I'm 5-6 with Rollins. Like Yankees said, you gotta take the biggest lead, and try to run on a pitch after a fastball, cuz the computer isn't very likely to pitch 2 fastballs in a row... Just don't run on Ivan Rodriguez...that's why I am 5-6.
