    Regarding generated counts...

... it was reported in another thread that pitchers will lose stamina at the same rate with the generated count on than without, but I've found this to be false. In a game against El Duque I had 8 hits and 5 walks off him in 7 innings and he had a little less than half his strength left... my pitcher, who had a B+ rating was also very strong late in the game, and having used him previously in games I know he can rarely go past the seventh... I changed it back in the last three innings and things felt back to normal... slower, yes, but back to normal.

... so while the generated count produces stats at a realistic rate, in my opinion, it adds longevity to a pitcher that is unrealistic.

not true try keeping your pitcher in 8 or more innings and youll start getting a lot of 3-0 counts and get banged around more

Well obviously with either method your pitcher will eventually tire, but what was in question was that when a batter comes to the plate and a count of 3 and 2 is generated, that the pitcher has lost 5 pitches of stamina before he's even pitched. It's just not the case. I found the pitchers lost stamina only for the pitches they threw... I found the pitchers tire at a realistic rate with the generated count turned off...

This is funny because with ASB2003 I thought it was just the opposite, that pitchers tired almost perfectly with the gen count on, and too quickly with it off... either way, I'd imagine you could pitch a 13 inning game with Schilling or Unit with the gen count on with this game.
