I know that Im in the minority, but I really miss the replays after every play. In fact, as much as I like the new things (franchise, foul backs, walk-up music, etc.), there are alot of things I liked better in last years game. The replays were great, showed alot of different tv style angles and added to the tv style presentation. Plus it didnt take much to press a button to bypass them.
I also miss the colors in last years game. If you don't know what I am talking about, play a game with the mariners in last years game and then play a game with this years game. Pay particular attention to any players wearing high socks. For some reason, last year the Mariners uniforms were the only game with dead-on colors. A very dark navy blue, almost black for the M's. This year they play in a different smurf blue and it's really disheartening because ASB was the only game with the correct colors on the jerseys and this year they suck. Why is it that no game can get the Mariners colors right? Is it really that hard? I guess this is ASB's attempt to "brighten" the game a bit. I know this may seem stupid, but I dont understand how they can have something right in the first place (the jersey colors) and then consciously choose to change it to make it inaccurate.
