Any Tips On Sending One Over The Fence???

Hey guys...long time no see...lol...dunno if anyone even remembers me...anyway...I jus got WSB 2K3 today and I have played a couple games now in my franchise with the cards and I have yet to get ahold of one, I am scoring good and producing hits, just not gettin any *umph* into any good pitches...any tips on this? I am playing on All-Star with Fast pitching and Small cursor...I always seem to pop the pitches up Any suggestions? By the way I LOVE this game...lol much improved AI and baseball logic compared to last year. 9.6 / 10.0

Shawn Green has 14 hrs for me in the 1st month. I play on All Star / Pitch Speed Fastest / Small Cursor..

I've hit about 3 or 4 with him using the contact swing. All the others, I work the count until its in my favor and hope for a meaty pitch with the power swing. Practice in the Big League challenge to get used to it. I'm 3rd in the NL in HR's. Thome is kicking some *** with 16 hrs. Bonds has 13.

I am a complete idiot...I had no idea about this years having a power swing...I just assumed it was the same as last years so I jus popped it in and started to play...happy to say that I've hit 2 HRs with Pujols, 1 HR with Rolen, and 1 HR with Drew. I was kind of gettin upset and bored with it until I read the instruction book and got on here and seen that...go ahead...laugh it up...enjoy your night...I'm stupid...your smart, I was wrong you were right, I am not good looking...you are attractive..

I've found that it easier for me to hit HRs without using the power swing. I'm about 28-29 games into my franchise with Oakland. Chavez has the team lead with 9 HRs with Tejada behind him with 8. A few others range between 1-5. None using Power swing. I always pop out when I use the Power Swing.

Yeah, practicing in the BLC helps a lot...I played a few games and sucked, so I went to the BLC and turned to balls and strikes and just practiced
