How are the crowds and in game sounds? I know the commentary isnt great but was wondering on crowd reactions, etc.

The crowds are the best in wsb2k3 then any other baseball game out there it actually sounds like that there is a crowd there they can get real loud like with 2 strikes or a hit a hr etc they can also get quiet if you are losing but sounds sweet on digital surround sound. that was my gripe with baseball games before i need that atmosphere and that excitements of the crowd. They can always make it better but it is pretty awesome and the best sound along with everything else then any other baseball game out there pick up wsb2k3 its awesome.

The crowds are great in WSB. The one thing I really notice is that there are a ton of ambient sounds... hecklars, fans talking... misc. sounds. It makes me feel like a baseball game. To me, if very much feels like I've got a hot dog in my hand and I'm at the ballpark.

The crowds are great in WSB. The one thing I really notice is that there are a ton of ambient sounds... hecklars, fans talking... misc. sounds. It makes me feel like a baseball game. To me, if very much feels like I've got a hot dog in my hand and I'm at the ballpark.

Well put Penguit i feel the same way and it is just awesome if you have a digital surroundsound setup and receiver crank it up and you are in the game gets your heart pumpin and pounding. Now they need team specific cheers for each team but still best sound/crowd then any other baseball game.Comment

Yeah, I think the crowd noise is well done. They cheer at things they should be cheering at and groan at things that don't go their way.
One thing I've found odd is the crowd really cheers foul balls, even if it doesn't bring the count to two strikes. Maybe they just like souvenirs!

I am a huge M's fan and when i goto the games at Safeco fans cheer at fould balls hopin they can catch it for a souviner just as you said.Comment
