Jarrod Washburn was hard to hit. Troy Percival is T - O - U - G - H! I was shut down by Jeff Nelson one night...and then...I had my revenge. Down 2-0 to the Mariners as the Rangers, I was facing Nelson in the 7th. With one out and Carl Everett on first, with a 1-1 count, Nelson made a "mistake" against AROD. GONE! Hello, tie game 2-2. It gets better, next batter is Juan Gonzalez...first pitch fastball....GONE! Back to back homers off Nelson in the 7th to take the lead 3-2. I thought the crowd was going to come out of the TV and hug me. I held on in the 8th and 9th for the 3-2 win. I LOVE THIS GAME!

someone how I threw a 106 mph fastball with Carlos Zambrano. It was a ball but I can't remember if I let the effectiveness go or if I never pressed a button for accuracy...

Well I threw a 144 MPH cutter low. I messed up something by not pressing the button and it went crazy. Maybe it was 114, although I I think the number was crazier than that.

Anyway it happens when you don't press the button and it just goes past the green while aiming low.

The Astros brought in a reliever against me yesterday. I think his name is J. Hernandez. He throws a knuckleball and it was the first time I had faced someone with a knuckler since I got the game. He had me completely fooled over and over and whenever I managed to make contact, it was very weak.

Kim for the D-Backs, I did hit a walk-off HR against him, but I stuggle to locate the ball from his delivery...

had my first run-in with a knuckleballer last night, TIM WAKEFIELD was embarrassing me for about 5 innings. never even came close to taking him yard.

as for closers, TROY PERCIVAL is the nastiest I've faced thus far, with KEITH FOULKE a close second.
