I'm the Cubs, and I think my team ERA is about 3.35. If you want more realistic numbers, you may want to think about aiming (with the left thumbstick) very quickly, instead of trying to pinpoint an area.

I have been doing this, and get pretty realistic results. I hit the corners sometimes, miss outside sometimes, and sometimes get punished if I leave the ball too far up in the zone. Griffey hit one onto Sheffield about 20 minutes ago.

Hey Sparty, I'm also the Cubs.

Can you do anything with Clement? He gets shelled everytime I pitch him. He's 1-3 with a 6.50 era. The sucker couldn't pitch his way out of a wet paper sack.

The funny thing is that Zambrano is the early CY Young favorite at 2-0 and .75 era. Estes is really good too. Woody is amazing! He's just wild enough to get the teams chasing junk.

How are you hitting with Choi?? he was cold as ice for about 10 or 15 games but has come along recently. Even hit a 3 run, game winning, homer for me.

Clement is doing ok for me. I think he's 2-2 with a sub-5 ERA. The thing is, though, I simulate one game a series, and often times it's his, so I have not played with him that much. The times I have, though, he's done okay I guess.

I've got Karros at first. He's about.300 with 4 homeruns in 21 games I think. I think Choi has something like 4 ab's.

In other news, the Buckeyes are about to beat the Badgers.

                    Re: team ERA

I just got the game yesterday, and it's great, but I am curious...
after 4 exhibition games, playing as the Twins, I've seen more than one home run, total... scores of 2-3, 1-2, 1-0, 0-1.
Never more than 9 hits total in any game, and usually more walks than hits.
While this is fine and i prefer pitchers duals to homerfests, I'm worried about how it will play out when I start my franchise.

I.E. Will all my hitters become super whimps that can't hit .100 and the pitchers all become gods who can't be hit, but also walk the ballpark every game, after a couple of years??
If the player progression is based on experience and stats, this will become so if the trend continues.
