* Pitchers get yanked too early by the CPU, they seem to either expend too much of their 'pitching meter gas' too early or the CPU AI is just a bit wacky in regards to this

I actually just played a game where Kennedy of Tampa Bay went deep into the 7th inning. I was taking a load of pitches too. The difference? I only had about 4 hits on the game and the score was 0-0. It seems as if the CPU has a strategy when the opponent has reached a certain amount of hits in the game...b/c I've seen 0-0 scores and the starting pitcher get yanked in the 3rd inning (in those games I've had like 4 hits an inning, but b/c of bad baserunning I would lose out on scoring).
So, I think hits might have somethin to do with it. It's possible. I'll test it somemore as the situations come up.

The pickoff game doesnt seem to really do much ( however maybe I havent used it enough to see this effectively work )

Use it more...the pickoff game is efficient. I've caught guys sleeping beautifully. Remember, pickoff rating has alot to do with it. My first pickoff came with Pettitte on the mound (98 in Pickoffs). The CPU is also more conservative as you continue to throw to first. They take a smaller lead and hesitate to run.

* Errors in general dont seem to happen at a realistic proportion and the differences between Defensive Ratings for players in the field plays almost no signifigance because most players can field like acrobatic superstars

I've noticed that Range is huge in the game. Playin with Robin Ventura I rarely see a diving play because he's always around the ball. I played one game with the slower Vinny Castilla and the guy was diving all over the place to reach the ball.
The big issue is that there seems to be a missing %meter or somethin for different positions. There doesnt seem to be a loss in playing a 1B at CF. I guess only range will affect that...but i'm not too sure.
--All in all I think this game is great. I'm gonna go out and say that this is the most fun i've had playing a baseball game since Triple Play 96 and Tony LaRussa 95 (Genesis for both).
WSB last year was a fun game but I just didnt enjoy it as much. ASB just got way too easy.
MVP seems perfect so far...but only time will tell. I'll like to see everyone's reaction come June when this game has been played a whole deal of a lot.
