YOU BE THE JUDGE

I was playing against TB and the so call OF to 1ST throw out happen twice in one game. But i am not sure if it is anything major. I would like for you people to decide or at least give me your opinions on this.

1. John Flaherty hits a soft line drive to Ben Grieve with what i can remember at default bases empty alignment and he was thrown out by about 2 steps.

2. Jason Conti hits a medium line drive to Raul Mondesi with the bases empty and on default defensive alignment and he was thrown out by less than a half of step.

That sounds pretty ugly to me. I guess the guys just aren't getting out of the box quick enough. That really should not be happening. If your OF was pulled in, then maybe a guy with a gun like Mondesi might have a shot on a hard liner.

no not complainning at all. i just remembered that people were really worried about the OF/1ST issue. I was just wondering if anybody else has seen this happen to them or if they have done this to the CPU.

once, but the infield was close, it was Raul Mondesi and the runner was Josh Phelps.

Anyone notice if maybe catchers get tired during the game? I've noticed Jorge Posada really runnin slow as the game progresses. I don't know if it's just his natural speed rating or if it's him gettin tired from playin behind the plate.

I wonder since players do get tired in run downs.
