    I need an analyst here...

I'm thinking about writing a web application, like a wiki, that would allow the WSB2K3 players to log in their game stats and the settings/sliders they are using. I've taken some programming classes, so I think I could do this. This weekend I could put up a mock sketch of what the form (that everyone fills out to log their stats) that would be submitted, thus emailing the data in the form to the "Analyst".

This Analyst would be someone who

    (a) doesn't mind giving out their email address; and

    (b) has the number crunching skills and baseball saavy to look over the data submitted and come to a conclusion which slider settings and other things produce the best and most realistic results.

Please respond here if you would like to team up with me on this.

First, I would submit a mock sketch, as mentioned above, but it would very crude, enough to let others say "hey, you need this, or you don't need that in the form". Then, from there, I would assemble a form.

I think this could be a fun project, and help everyone in this community find out how to have more fun with this wonderful WSB2K3 game Right now, I am a little frustrated with the lack of walks produced and too many hits produced. So, that's my motivation for doing this!

This is an interesting idea. I'm not an analyst, but i'm interested in participating in the site.

(i guess this post was just a bump)

        haha, i too "serious"

well, i've never been known to be Toast Master's calibre

sounds good, i just wanted to find someone that would want to look at the stats and tell the rest of us what sliders/settings would be best for realism.

i would love to find the ideal slider setting for this game, to make it close to perfect as you can get.

I'm going to work on the mock sketch this weekend, so you all can look at it and tell me if i am leaving anything out or including TOO much

The biggest reason why I struggle to finish projects like this, is that I don't plan enough ahead of time and wind up spending all my time on tinkering and trying to come up with something that looks "reasonable"....that if i planned accordingly in the beginning i wouldn't have to do that kind of tinkering
