Ok im the rangers and i have juan gonzlez on the block, the sox offer carlos lee

Ok so here is the trade
gonzlaez and mike lamb to the sox for
Carlos Lee and cf/of Alber Suareez(5th rated high minors prospect)

I figured i get two young of's Lee can step right in for juan and lamb.

Juan is already 34 while lee is 27 and although both are at the end of their contracts, let is 1 yr 18 points juan was 1 yr 41 points. Plus lee is bating 260 with 17 hrs 47 rbi's and gonzlez was batting juan was batting .274 14 hr's 49 rbi's and mike lamb was batting 2.67 with 5 hr and 24 rbi's in limited time.

I dont think i cheated the AI, hey they made the offer =/.


I think its a good trade, what yall think?

I don't think you cheated the AI there....I assume you are in the race though...or I would question why you would make the trade.

yeah im in the race...im thinking about trading zimmerman or urbina before the trade deadline for another starting pitcher if i can get something done.

im setting at 52-47 dead last in the AL west but only 5 games back behind 57-42 oakland its a tight race in the west. and im 3 games back behind the angles for the wildcard. 5 times in the al widlcard race are seperated by 3 games. Should be intersting down the strech.

ohh...I was thinking you were the sox there....well it's definitely a good deal for you then....as to whether it makes sense for the sox is where they are in the standings and what they need Lamb for. If Lamb doesn't fill a big need for them then I'd say you got over on the cpu big time....however, being in the Chicago area(a Cubs fan) though...until the Colon trade....the Sox GM Kenny Williams was making trades far worse than that. so getting the better of a team doesn't necessarily mean you are cheating or being unrealistic.
