Re: mvp cd problems
Yep. I usually see it happen on the second game of two consecutive games in one sitting.
I know it's happenin too b/c the music stops, the announcers shut up and then wham! Black and white fills the screen.
It's upsetting and I don't know what it is but the disc possibly skipping or somethin.
The thing is it NEVER happens durin exhibition games. Only during my franchise games...
But it's not bad enough to really piss me off. I usually just sim the game to the inning I was in. I will reload the game if the score doesnt kinda reflect the accurate score. If I'm losing I wanna be losing when I continue. If I had a shutout, I better have a shutout or I just won't continue.
I'm crazy I know, but it worked. One game I was up 2-0 in the bottom of the eigth with two runners on and Mondesi batting up with two outs. Game stopped. I simmed it and was losing 8-1, I was like no way! I did it again and was up 4-0 in the ninth. I lost a chance to gain a save with Rivera, but I still got the win and most importantly Weaver threw as impressive as he did initially.
I just hate having to redo a game and change the course of "history" as it happened originally. Ya know?
yea i'm crazy..."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace
