    mvp tips thread

anybody got some good tips for batting and pitching?

I realy need to learn how to hit homeruns. i need good tips guys!

About pitching, i found that the computer is waiting for his pitch on the first pitch, so aim colds zones and youll get a strike looking. When u have 2 strikes, i got a lot of K's when aiming a fastball just up the strike zone and the computer swing in the the miss!

hittin homeruns the "without pressin up way" is about patience.

Wait for your pitch. Look at your hot zones and wait for a pitch that falls in that zone. Timin is also very important. If you are too early on the swing you'll see a nice jump on the ball but it'll die. Too late and you'll put no power into it. You really have to connect and make solid contact.

Don't rush it and just be patient. I find myself hitting about one homerun a game, which was the MLB average last year. So I have no issues really.

Do u have to press up on the analog to hit HR's? I know that in HR derby it's a lot easier to hit dingers when u press up on the stick.

nope. you can, but you don't have to.

All of my homeruns have come on just pressing the A button. I find that hittin up just produces more flyouts on pitches you should've driven. But that's for me. Maybe someone else has perfected the "touch".

I don't use the directional button unless I wanna go the other way.
