    how about one for:

I don't mind cursors but I prefer MVP's timing system?

And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

I think the real question for me is after MVP how am I supposed to go back to the old-style pitching method (i.e., select pitch/location - no control over outcome). I think the pitching meter is the best innovation in a sports game in long time. Props to EA

I really think EA and MVP have set the new bar pitching and hitting and it is going to be tough to enjoy any game without a system similar to this....It's just too engaging not to implement in every baseball game going forward.

In fact, think about how EA could take Madden to new heights if they implemented something similar with the QB passing game....( holding down a reciever button and seeing a quick throwing meter come up that you have to hit in the green to nail an accurate pass...anything outside of it would throw the ball further offline. )

EXACTLY! I like WSB but it is hard to go from MVP pitching and throwing back to WSB. Throwing isnt as big of a difference, but I do like MVPs throwing meters as well.

Both of these games make ASBs pitching look very weak.

Same...I love hitting, and I love pitching. The fielding is a little suspect, but 2 outta 3 ain't bad.
