Yeah I usually say the F word at least 5 times an inning......
I just wish WSBB had a better batting angle. Maybe even an angled view like WSBB. I have a hard time judging the distannce(like others) in the low view.

I meant to say an angle like MVP.
Anyways the problem isn't telling the height of pitch but rather the distance. I don't mind missing a ball because of "off speed" etc..
The problem is there is no depth perception in the batting view. Even when you sit changeup and get it, you can't tell the distance away from you the ball is.

Quite right. I'm getting more used to it, but when i first started playing, it seemed like the balls were disappearing too early off the screen. Still, curbeballs are KILLING me! I usually swing in the top part of the zone, when in fact the pitch is well below the zone.

where do i go to change sliders? I did it on the main menu and went to game options but it didn't save, so how do I do it in my franchise?

There should be a zoomed batting view, where the camera is closer to the back of home plate. The camera is set off from home plate a little too far, which makes it a little harder to time your swing.

To use the custom slider settings within the franchise, before the game u have to go to the team options of the CPU team and make sure they are set to custom sliders. I will use them until you quit and turn of the game.

Hehe I'm winning games and hitting well but I checked through my user stats. I haven't got a basehit off a curveball yet. NOT ONE. When I do I think I'll throw a kegger for the entire forum. Mods can come too.

Oh, yea also, for the ppl who said the CPU swings at to many pitches. I raised the Batting Eye(strikes) to 75 and the (balls) to 70. And anything between 1-10 in the Throw strikes slider will get a fair amount of walks.

                        <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

WIll this allow the CPU to take 2-3 walks per game. From posts I have seen many people hardly walk the CPU, myself included. I use Variable high, cursor and strike zone off, but I still seem too accurate.

Batting eye(balls) --70 so they will still swing at balls

On these settings 1 game I had 9 Ks and another I had 7 Ks. Seems that the CPU will make more contact with the ball the higher the Batting Eye(strikes) slider is.

So far I've played 2 games and the numbers were--2-7-0 CPU, 1-7-1 me. Next game was 2-9-1 CPU, 5-10-2 me.

Graphik, have you been getting a lot of first strike swings with those settings. I am considering lowering the Batting Eye (strikes) slider because it seems like if I put the first pitch anywhere in the strike zone, they swing. Any suggestions?
