Really liked the sliders. Here are some stats.

Dodgers (Me) 1 Run, 2 Hits, 1 Error
Padres 10 Runs, 8 Hits(!), 0 Errors

Both SP were ejected in the 3 innings as the game turned REAL ugly.

I allowed 3 HR's in the game (1 Grand Salami)

I struck out the CPU 15 Times, and the CPU struck me out 16.

Both teams drew a walk each.

I hit two players with pitches (reason why Kevin Brown was ejected )

Anyway, difficult, but everything felt really good. I know why I lost. I just sucked. Can't wait to try again.

Graphik, how are your strikeout totals for you? Mine seem a tad high, but was just curious what yours are like.

Tried these sliders and so far I think they're great... Drew four walks including a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the 8th inning... Turned out to be the game winning run... 4-3. Each team had 8 hits.

Great settings so far...

Well, my last game was a bit extreme. WIth Randy Wolf I K'd 5 batters through 3 innings... However I struck out 6 times in the same span! I was swinging at everything!

Through 5 innings.... me 1-2-0 them... 3-3-0. I walked a batter then Griffey wen't yard. Next inning, Burrell went yard.

These settings are legit!

Give my new settings a try. I like my new settings as they are *challenging for me*. Please note that I've played WSB alot last year so the batting interface is very easy for me in WSB2k3.

CPU Pitching Ability - 75
65 is a good setting but since many relievers are rated low, I lit up too many relievers. To counter-balance, I cranked it by 10.
I now have to work for my basehits and I have to choose my pitches to swing at, wisely. Or else I'll end up popping out or grounding out.

CPU Batting Average - 60
I tried putting this on 70/75 and got lit up too much. I think 60 is nice as I've played both close games and games where the CPU totally lit up my pitcher(s).

CPU Batting Eye (Strikes) (Balls) - 55
Very good setting in my opinion.

CPU Throw Strikes - 25
Good amount of balls and strikes from the CPU. At anything higher, I've noticed too many strikes and not enough balls.

CPU Stealing Frequency - 50
I've only had a few baserunners run on me. This setting still needs work on my part, in my opinion. However, most people have said 45 and 50 work out nicely.
