Ive been on ASB for the past two years and Im wondering do any of the newer games out have good franchise modes a-la madden... with real salaries and good minor league systems/drafts etc... this is what Ive always wanted from a baseball game.

There is a real debate right now whether MVP or WSB is better. I have both games and owned WSB last year. My favorite this year is MVP. It's just flat out fun to play. The franchise mode is extremely deep. There are a few things that MVP doesn't have (fantasy draft, old / negro league players, career stats) but I can live without those. I would like to see the fantasy draft in next year's game. One think that MVP does have is the franchise goals that have to be met in 10 seasons. The momentum meter is also pretty cool, as is the ability to jump right into a game that you are simming.
