1) CPU hitters need to chase bad balls more often
2) CPU hitters need to swing and miss more often
3) Tag animation off at times when player moves forward and then tries tag..***nner always safe
4) Fielders sometimes get stuck against wall in OF chasing down ball..***n in place
5) Pitcher sometimes chases ball in OF as other fielders do not move
6) Too many line outs to infielders
7) Too many over the shoulder catches by infielders
8) Catchers never snap throw to first
9) Stealing is incredibly hard - even with a good lead, fast runner, and on an off-speed pitch
10) Homerun hitting needs to be tweaked...a bit too hard to hit one both when human controlled and CPU controlled. We don't want a homer fest for sure, but it needs to be upped slightly
11) Tighten up the dp animations just a touch
12) Try to get rid of the extra animation of fielder stopping and turning slightly before throwing. I think this has to be a bit more seamless...especially on dps
13) Fine tune the "remove CPU pitcher" code. They are being pulled way to early...try to implement a pitch thrown logic into this algorithm, as well as current game situation/score.
14) Need an easier way to determine pitcher's stamina while in game
15) Need more balls weakly hit...most are line shots..especially by CPU
I know others will have more...I wanted to keep this thread to on the field stuff, because to me that is what is most important.
You guys are so close...an awesome first effort! This is a must purchase for next year if you can tweak these items. Don't let Sega and Acclaim get there first!!
