If you change your sliders do you have to start a franchise over for the changes to take effect? I've heard it both ways. I just want to clear up this issue.

It appears that if you change your sliders and choose 'custom' when playing in Franchise, the sliders you previously adjusted (and saved) are in effect....for a while it annoyed me because I kept forgetting to turn 'on' the bullpen...

you can't change sliders during franchise, well you can't tweak them, you're stuck to the presets, and that includes whatever your custom was set to BEFORE you started franchise.Comment

Sorry Arenas, I disagree...
I have tweaked custom sliders during franchise and have noticed big differences. You CAN adjust your custom sliders and they will take effect in your franchise.Comment

YES you can...I just put CPU Eye Ball/Strikes both to one (to test it) and they were swinging at everything in my loaded franchise. Change the sliders in the main menu and it is changed for all loaded games. Well, I'm not sure about games-in-progress, but franchises...yes, changes take effect.Comment

You CAN change them. They will go in effect. I changed my sliders and notice the differences. That doesn't really prove it, but I know they change.Comment
