Anyone finding hitting on PRO to be too easy?

I've been playing on PRO level because it seems to be the most realistic in terms of my pitching. Strike out numbers are really good for me on that level and the amount of computer hits against me have been very reasonable (although, very very few HRs). The big problem is, when batting, I am killing the ball. Other than Bonds (I hit 4 HRs in a single game), noone else is hitting HRs, but my batting averages are all very good. The top three players in triples all play for my team in my franchise. I am getting like 15 hits a game at least.

The big problem is, when I play on All Star, the number of hits I get go down, but now I NEVER hit a HR with anyone but Bonds and pitching against the computer is very difficult (in terms of getting any strike outs).

Anyone else having a similar problem with the game? Any tips for playing better on All Star?

All this being said though, I wouldn't trade this game for any of the other titles. The "jump in" feature during simming is the best addition to a baseball game in years.

No, keep angled batting on and turn off the strike zone. Try that.

I find that the AI on Pro doesn't play as well as on All-Star. Although the CPU let the pitcher bat in the 9th inning down by 1 run and 3 players on the bench.

I haven't hit a HR in three games though. We need something in between. There are too many hits on Pro as well, it seems. I can K the CPU players pretty well on AS. I need some more games on AS to see if that's where I want to be.

Yeah, I have been playing with the strike zone on. I will have to try taking it off. If you take the strike zone off in the options menu, does that take the strike zone away when you are pitching as well? That may make getting K's near impossible...

I took the strike zone off as well...Makes it much more realistic in my opinion. As far as pitching goes, it won't make a difference because you choose the location while the hot/cold zones are on the screen. I also prefer the center camera angle while hitting. I can respect those who prefer the default view but I don't really see why you would want a skewed view of pitch and not as the batter would see it.
