foul tips into catchers glove

correct me if im wrong, but isnt it only an out when the ball is tipped into the catchers glove when it wouldve been the 3rd strike? in asb it seems to happen a lot that you get called out no matter how many strikes

You're right, that's the rule. Although I have only seen it screwed up once in the game, and I've played 50+ games.

think it's an out if the ball goes a certain height too. maybe above the shoulders, not positive.

There's no 'above the [insert favorite body part here]' rule. A foul tip is a foul tip, with no exceptions. In other words, it's just treated as a swing and a miss... a "normal" strike.

I've yet to see anything unusual happen in ASB 2004 regarding them, but I know the critics jumped all over this issue.

I've seen this wierd foul-tip out, but ONLY in multiplayer games, never in my franchise game (and i've played over 60 games). It's basically a non-issue.

You know what else I've never seen? In the IGN review, the reviewer complained that the infielders, on grounders, would often throw the ball home. I have never seen this.
