I am 60 games into my season. I have 14 budget points right now. I have allot of guys that are only here for 1 year. I cant resign anyone right now. Will I get some more points?? Seems like I had zero points to start off the year.

Carolina Coppeheads, franchise team. When I trade for a start player, does his Salary affect how many points I have etc. ?? Might have to make some cuts towards the end of the year.

hmmm... How much budget does your minor leagues take? If its a good amount, then cut them in the offseason. Also, don't forget, according to last years version, you get a new crop of minor leaguers...

Other than that, you're screwed.

You know, I'm pretty sure you can resign guys as long as their new salary doesn't exceed their previous one. For example, I signed Andy Pettitte to a cheaper deal than he had before and I'm pretty sure I GAINED points... after all, your not paying him twice when you resign him, you're replacing his salary...

yeah, but I traded for Vladimir Guerro earlier in the year. Didn't realize he is in the last year of his contract. So now he wants a huge salary. Maybe I will cut my entire Minors, they all suck ***.
