Just finished playing a game and found out my CF is out for 86 days. Why you ask? Who knows! The game decided I don't need to find out why he is out for 86 days. There was no injury during the game and there is no injury report in the news section. He wasn't tired from playing or anything either. Basically, this is just an x-files type mystery.
I should add that the player is a created guy (me) tha I made. Looks like this is another created player bug to go along with the auto 200 walks registered for created starting pitchers.
Did anyone test this game for bugs like this?
One other thing I forgot to mention in my other post/thread is that they still haven't fiuxed the issue of players covering the bags when runners are on base. For example, I'm pitching and the CPU has a guy on 2nd and 1st. In WSb2k3 (and in wsb last eyar) the game AI will have the 2nd basement cover the bag and the 1st basement cover 1st. So you're left with a totally open right side. The best is when the bases are juiced and the only infielder who can do anything defensively is the SS. that is beautiful. This doesn't happen in real baseball.
This injury basically drove the last nail in the coffin. I shall sim the rest of my time with wsb2k3. To hell with playing this bush league junk.
BTW, I registered 10 Ks pitching in my last game. That makes 100 Ks in 8 games. Good job Sega!
