This is one of my main reasons for not liking HH, Pitching physics.

One of the things that really urk me about HH is the pitches...this is going to be hard to describe but maybe you can understand it......Its not just the overexaggerated pitching effects of balls that bother me ( ie, screwballs breaking backwards like they were pulled on a string) but its also the feeling that I get that the pitched ball locations arent totally infinite.....it almost seems that they follow only a limited set amount of scripted ball paths coming to the plate.....Its like the plate was divided up into 9 squares like a tic tack toe board and the balls only have one or two flight patterns they follow thru those zones. I never get the feeling that the ball is totally free to go anywhere. I repeatedly see the same types of breaks and curves from all the pitchers. There's not as much variety in the kinds of breaking balls and sliders each pitcher throws...SUre theres alot of pitches but they all seem to look the same coming from different pitchers and the ball doesnt fell totally free after it leaves the pitchers hands....it almost feels as tho its following one of the scripted ball paths to the plate

Sorry if this makes no sense...but thats how I feel with the pitching in this game in comparison to some others

Supposedly they have like 70 something different trajectories, seems pretty close to me.

for someone whos always bitching about the game it sure sounds like you play it alot, AI, remember that video games are just that "games" there not the real world, instead of always posting complaints of games you should put more effort into something more constructive, bye the way, have a nice day

Al has been nitpicking HH for days now. He opens new threads whenever he can dream up a complaint. Saying HH has 9 spots that the pitch hits is hyper-stupid.

You can throw balls up and away, up, down, down and away, away, down and in, in, up and in! That is just some of the balls not counting strikes!

You might think that Al's "complaints" are valid but I think that he likes to read his posts.

I don't mind AI complaining when it's a legit gripe. But come on , if you play the game for 20 minutes you can see what he is saying is false.

Been playing a lot of HH since i got it and i really dont have any complaints per say. Maybe in the area of crowd atmosphere, but this title plays the game of baseball very well. Has to be one of the most challenging games i've ever played. Just wish i was better at it, in fact i stink.
