I'm starting to worry

I'm worried about the PS2 version. I just have a bad feeling about this game and this being it's first shot on the PS2.

Don't sweat it bro. IGN did a video side by side take on WSB. The games for the most part are friggin identical. XBOX has slightly better lighting and textures but as far as gameplay they are dead even from my understanding.

Yeah, I wanted to see that... I'm trying to find it now. Is it unlocked now? Does anyone have the link? I'm not an insider, so yeah.

Also, was the PS2 version's self-shadowing anoticeable like the Xbox's? Like you will see the shadow of the waggling bat go onto the uniform and helmet? Please say yes!

Also, what about slowdown? That was never fixed. Watch other PS2 movies of the game, and you will see when they hit a fair ball, there is a slight bit of a slowdown between the transition of the pitch and then the hit.

Is sound jsut as good? Are animations just as solid? Are stadiums just as detailed? Were any features left out of the PS2 version?

I'm not worreid about the looks. It's the issues that were fixed this year on the XBOX showing up that worry me.

I can tell you this, this game is so bright and beutiful that even if it's a little step down on the PS2 it's gonna look great. I put in ASB and then went and put back in WSB and the difference in color, textures, brightness, etc. is SO noticeable. It jumps out at you on XBOX and I can't see it falling on it's face with the PS2.

Remember Jimbo, your impressions have been HUGE in my decision to temporarily put aside HH04.

You are a purist unlike most, as am I, and I love what you are saying about WSB. I just hope the PS2 lives up to what you have been saying about the XBOX.
