    Playing MVP after WSB

I am trying to love WSB the way I do MVP. Played 3 games in a row on WSB with modified slider settings. Got it to where it really does play like real baseball. CPU strikesout, walks, appropriate errors, etc. Graphics are very nice as well.

But...I don't know. I can't stay with it because I hate the fact that I have to field..and I find this extremely hard in WSB. I must have had 10 balls go to the wall because I thought I could get to it with a middle infielder, but it was the outfielder who wound up running the wrong way. All I want to do in a game is pitch, hit, and throw on defense. WSB does not afford me this.

The atmosphere is extremely drab compared to MVP as well. No excitement...at least not compared to MVP. I don't know..I fired up MVP after those 3 games and felt like, "yeah...this is alot more intense and fun".

I think WSB can be a real contender next year if they fix a few things, but MVP keeps drawing me back. The graphics, expressions on faces of players, the overall look and feel of the game is so seductive. Yes, it has some major flaws (few cpu K's, few cpu batters missing pitches, etc), but it also plays one heckuva game of baseball...and to me, is on the verge of photo-realism.

    Just my 2 cents...

Just curious. When you say you have to field, are you referring to having an auto-fielding option? Does MVP have one and WSB don't? I don't have either game, so I am just wondering. Sometimes I like to be lazy and have an auto-field so your answer may sway my choice.

MVP has autofileding or assisted fielding. I use assisted which means the fielders make the play and I can throw.

WSB does NOT have these options. You have to field yourself in this game. And since I am not very good at it, it ruins the game for me.

            I like assisted fielding too.
