    Hitting advice needed

I just got MVP last night and so far I like it. The only thing is in 8 games I have yet to hit a homerun. If you guys could give me some tips on hitting I would appreciate it. Do you guys always push up on the left stick when batting or what do you guys suggest?

    Re: Hitting advice needed

I was having similar problems until I started doing
this. I play as the Braves, whenever my power hitters
come up, I hold the stick up on the first pitch. If
    it's red, I tee off. If it's not, or it's a ball, I
take. If the first pitch is a ball, I do the same
until I get a strike. If the first pitch is a strike,
then I just go back to trying to hit the ball normally.
I've been hitting about 2 homers a game using this
    strategy. Hope it helps.

        Just wondering, but
        why do you type like
        this all the time?

            Sorry, it's my computer. Let's
just say it's not exactly state
of the art. It almost always
            screws up anything I type.

Oh, ok. Mine isn't the greatest either, I'd probably have slow down trying to play Pong.

I use the Braves, too. What level are you playing because I can't hit HR to save my life with anyone besides Chipper and Sheffield.

Also, are you getting any K's with the starting pitchers? Gryboski leads my team in K's with 5 after 15 games.

a good way to get K's is paint the corners and if you get an 0-2 or 1-2 count give the guy some high inside or outside heat most of the time they don't catch up with it

When you say high and inside or outside heat........do you throw it in the strike zone or out of the strike zone? I can get them 0-2 and 1-2, but they always put the ball in play after it reaches that point. Also, I never walk anyone unless I do it intentionally. That's not a big deal, but it isn't very realistic either.
