    For Manage Mode only players

Anyone find it that your batters is striking out 8-9 times a game? And does your pitching is extra dominate?

I'm currently playing with the White Soxs and I'm currently leading the league in batters struck out, last in hitting and runs scored and leading the league in pitching with a ERA under 1 in over 11 games. I know the Soxs hitters aren't that bad and the Soxs pitching isn't that good.

    Anyone else have this problem?

The game tends to be pretty streaky-- I've lost ten games in a row, giving up 5 to six runs a game. Right now I've won six in a row, giving up maybe 2 runs a game, and with an expansion team... I always strike out quite a bit, and rarely strike out more than 4 of my opponents a game... I've yet to see anyone hit a home-run to dead center in a game I've managed... but have seen a pitcher (Roy Oswalt) go deep...

I've had Valentine go deep center in one game. It was a homer that barley made it out because it didn't have a cut sceene.

But I'm still concern about my dominating pitching staff and the below average hitting with the White Soxs. Last in almost everything in all offensive number and first in everything in picthing, except for strikeouts.

Sorry. Misspellled the name Valentine. It was Jose Valentin that hit that center field homer.

Sorry, couldn't help it... you kow, I bet there's some mathmatical formula the trends tend to run along in this game-- very rarely are all aspects of my team all good or all bad... like with your CHISox the hitting blows but the pitching is unbeatable-- it seems that whenever the bats are working on my team the pitching takes a dive... or specifically, the bullpen begins to crumble... just play ten more games and see if things don't begin to turn around...

Manage only does have a few more than it's share of low scoring games... but I have to agree with the streakiness...
...as for the white Sox pitching, I've only played one game against them as the Twins, and in manage mode, my Twins blew Colon off the mound in that game, ripped him for quite a few runs.
