Ok, I think I found a bug. Very Minor but wierd. Everytime I try and edit John novak of CWS to Brian Daubach, the game freezes after I finished entering the last name. Only happens to B. Daubach. Tried it 3 times, froze everytime. If Someone has a lot of time on their hands, check it out, I'm interested to see if anyone else is getting the same results.

Ok, I think I found a bug. Very Minor but wierd. Everytime I try and edit John novak of CWS to Brian Daubach, the game freezes after I finished entering the last name. Only happens to B. Daubach. Tried it 3 times, froze everytime. If Someone has a lot of time on their hands, check it out, I'm interested to see if anyone else is getting the same results.

Mod chips allow your Xbox to run unsigned code, which makes it possible to run all types of third-party applications.

Xbox doesnt support nor condone modding. They would rather have you buy a PC and get the money from Windows and other stuff.

XBL supposedly will not work if the Xbox has been modded. Linux I believe is still offering over $100,000 to anyone that can get the Linux software to run on an unmodded Xbox.

Regarding modding.....

If my XBOX is out of warranty and I pay some technician to replace my DVD drive its ok. But If I want to replace it myself it is illegal? I was only referring to modding in order to avoid replacing the entire XBOX and piracy is not an issue here. I personally don;t think it is too much to expect my XBOX that is barely over a year old to still function properly.

I also have a degree in electronics and am quite capable. But it is completely against the rules to discuss what really ammounts to a repair? I guess I should not have used the term Modding as it has been misconstrued. I only want to upgrade the drive...if I can even prove that is the culprit. Piracy is not an issue here.

Not trying to be disrespectful...just voicing my opinion. I understand MS doesn't want me to open the XBOX up and fix it myself. But it was my 300 bucks that bought it 14 months ago and the darn thing is crapping out? And they won;t fix it. So I'm expected to shell out $199 again? When a possible $30 dollar drive might fix the issue?

Oh well. I'm just PO'ed cause I can;t get WSB to work and facing the fact that I may have to buy a whole new XBOX has me irritated too!!

I returned my game for a new copy yesterday. last night I played two flawless games and a Big League Challenge. No problems so far. So maybe the new copy did the trick.
