    What do batting and pitching do in franchise?

    After hiring batting and pitching coach, what kind of role are they playing in franchise mode? I mean, they are not like a good manager will come up with some trade advices or a scout with some potential prospects...are they the least important coach in the staff??

      Well, they are going to help your batters and pitchers get better. You can even specify what they should be working on: contact vs. power, velocity vs. control, etc.

          Well, they are going to help your batters and pitchers get better. You can even specify what they should be working on: contact vs. power, velocity vs. control, etc.

                      No - you can't tell the coach to specifically work with an individual player.
