I'm currently trying to make the decision of whether to buy ASB2004 or WSB2K3 this year.
There were a lot of things I didn't really like in ASB 2003, having to do with the gameplay, defense, and especially..... THE PITCH AID.
In the games on the Nintendo64 platform, it was nice to hit, because the pitch aid was displayed when the CPU opponent was aiming the pitch, and you could see it the whole time, even while he was throwing the ball. This made it fun to hit, because you knew you'd have a chance, but it was still 'realistic' because it didn't show which type of pitch it was...
So if the ball/dot was placed at the top of the strike zone, you knew it could be a fastball, curveball, slider, changeup, whatever, and you'd have to adjust to it once you saw it out of the pitchers hand....
In All-Star Baseball 2003, this was not the case, as the pitch aid only shows up right when the pitcher has thrown the ball, and it is nearly impossible to get the batting cursor there in time.
So, my question is, in All-Star Baseball 2004, what is the pitch aid like when you are hitting? Does it display while the opposing pitcher is choosing his location, or does it pop up at the end?

I really don't want to migrate away from the ASB seires, but I have to know the answer to this question before I make my decision.
Thank You,
Stuart P
