As for the game itself I have to agree with those that say the commentary is the best out of any baseball title. I was playing as the Jays in the dome and I let the game sit for a while. Thom and Steve started talking about the current team and everything while the screen was showing various parts of the stadium. I found that to be pretty cool.
The Stadiums themselves are BEAUTIFUL. The best looking stadiums in a videogame i've ever seen. The players also look great with their batting stances and pitching deliveries. BTW if anyone is hesitant to buy this game based on screenies and stuff like that....well then let me just say that the actual game looks 10 times better!
I like the gameplay it's quite challenging and I just can't wait to play it every day. So needless to say i'm hooked on this game. Dunno what will happen when I eventually get WSB. It might end up collecting dust

SOME NIGGLING PROBLEMS
1) I have a hard time hitting! I have the batting interface on easy and am playing rookie at the moment with exaggerated pitch. I usually get a few hits a game. My first game with my current franchise (Blue Jays) I scored 4 runs so that's pretty good but I got shut out the other 2 games. Tho I was playing the Yanks so we'll see what happens.
2) I dunno if it's my copy of the game, my PS2 or what but sometimes this game has the nasty habit of slowing down when i'm about to swing and it screws up the timing.
3) I CAN'T ADVANCE RUNNERS FOR THE LIFE OF ME! Just exactly how do you do this? would it be better to turn off auto lead as well? (thanks for help if I get answers)
4) Menus are way too small. This is a problem since i'm vision impaired. The Sega titles have no problems with big easy to read font but i'm finding myself squinting and leaning toward the TV just to find out the contract status of my players and stuff.
OVERALL RATING: B-
I love this game a lot and don't regret buying it.
